| To the south of Cooktown lies Australia s last remaining virgin tropical rainforest. Cape Tribulation National Park has World Heritage status. Abutting this ecological diversity is this beautifully remote Lodge, completely secluded, nestled in the rainforest, and overlooking the Coral Sea. There are just 17 individual cabins. The lodge offer the best of ocean and forest. Tour the warm waters or green trails, or laze around the lodge enjoying the magical setting. Meals are casual at the open-air restaurant. Bloomfield is only accessible by sea and so has no casual visitors or day trippers. It offers total rest and relaxation or, for more action, a variety of tours and activities. Lunch is either a picnic or an informal meal, evening meals vary from barbecues to a tropical menu or buffets. Bloomfield represents a wonderfully comfortable gateway to the reef and rainforest - two of Australia's grandest natural features.
