The location of the Old Waverley Hotel in this vibrant city couldn't be better -centrally positioned on famous Princes Street with everything right on the doorstep! Overlooking Princes Gardens and the Scott Monument and with views across to Edinburgh Castle, the Old Waverley is just 2 minutes walk from the train station, Edinburgh bus terminal and the sightseeing tours departure point. Some of Edinburgh's finest shops such as Jenners are situated on Princes Street and all the major attractions - theatres, museums, art galleries, the Castle, Holyrood Palace - are within easy distance.
There are 66 comfortable en suite bedrooms. Many overlook Princes Street and have views of the Castle.
Both Cranstons Restaurant and the Waverley Lounge Bar are light and airy with superb views over Princes Street Gardens and of Edinburgh Castle. Both offer excellent cuisine and service.
